The Real Life Church mission statement has been designed based off of the Purpose Driven Life principles to create an atmosphere of healthy church growth in all five purposes of ministry. We desire to have a balanced church. We don’t want to grow out of proportion.

The Five Purposes of Real Life Church has been taken from the Great Commandment (Mt 22:37-40) and the Great Commission
(Mt 28:19-20):

Great Commandment (Mt 22:37-40)
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, and with all they soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Great Commission (Mt 28:19-20)
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

The Five Purposes of ministry excerpted from scripture are as follows:

1. Purpose of Fellowship – "baptizing them…"
2. Purpose of Ministry – "Love…neighbor"
3. Purpose of Evangelism – "Go ye therefore…"
4. Purpose of Discipleship – "teaching…to observe"
5. Purpose of Worship – "Love…God"

These Five Purposes have been combined in one easy word to remember the underlining them of Real Life Church. The underlining theme is a combined concept of unification. We are all part of one body. There are no "Me’s", "U’s", or "I’s", in the word "Together". The underling theme of Real Life Church is the word U.N.I.T.E. That is to:

• N. Nurture their ministry – Purpose of Ministry
• I. Igniting nonbelievers – Purpose of Evangelism
• T. Teaching the Gospel – Purpose of Discipleship
• E. Exaltation to God – Purpose of Worship
